94 Pathfinder A/C malfunction
I'm new to this, but I hope I can get some help without paying out the nose at the local dealership.
I've got a 94 Pathfinder A/C problem. It was working just fine the other day until I took off the trim around the center console (the one with the A/C, fan, heat, stereo, ash tray, cigarette lighter, etc.) so I could clean it. I had no problems until I got the trim back on and took a drive and found that the A/C buttom wan't lighting up anymore and the air was not cold. I checked the fuse in the fuse box on the far left under the dash and it was fine. I took the trim back off to see if there were any in-line fuses or if I had accidentally pulled some wires but everything looked okay. Anybody know what I'm looking at here? Maybe I just missed a fuse or I didn't get in deep enough? Thanks for the help! |

Okay! For anybody who ever has this problem - check all your fuses!!!
I had previously checked the A/C fuse and it was okay. Somehow, however, I blew the cigarette lighter fuse. You wouldn't think that this would effect the A/C, but it did. I put in a new 15amp fuse and presto, the A/C works again! |
