Weird noise...Whats Causing it???

Hey guys, its me again with the 4th gen.

Recently, after I had my lowering springs and the camber kit put on, I've been getting this weird noise. It only happens when my suspension is moved, its not a squeaking noise. Its hard to explain what kinda noise it is. You can't hear it when you drive fast, just when your going slow and you go over bumps or dips.

It's not the Roll arm hitting the inner fender thingy. It's somthing else, someone told me it could be my springs and that the guy could of forgot to put the rubber on each side of my springs.

I'm not sure, and the sound is getting annoying.

Any help would be grateful!!!

i think i know what your talking about, cuz i hear wierd noises too... I have coilovers and it sounds to me like it might be the spring hitting against the coilover hardware or something like that. I was told when installing those your supposed to put rubber or something around the bottom of the spring to cut down on the noise... maybe i should have followed that advice.

that is coils banging against each other. you can wrap coils with wire wrap or put a shrinking tube, you can get those things in local electronic store.

It's a 1.8 drop in front and 1.7 drop in back.

You can actually hear the noise, if you push down on the car..if you bounce it....

Sounds like your crushing an old stryrofoam egg carton..

any ideas????

ive got a 95 lx, dropped 2.25, and it does the same thing. i always thought it was the factory strut, just popping because it was not operating at stock height. but i dont really know. i am switching to full coilovers to try and get rid of it.
