Anybody ever order from importperformance.com

Myself and a buddy ordered the DC Sports 3" cat-back exhaust through these guys for our SRT-4's.

http://www.importperformance.com/store/DTS9101

They were offering it at a very competetive price with free shipping so we went for it. That was Thursday. Neither of us have gotten an order confirmation email, tracking info, etc. My buddy has been calling them but either gets no answer or leaves a voicemail and they don't call back. I've sent them one email and right now I'm trying to find out what I can about this company. Help me if you can.

Anybody here ever deal w/this company or this website?

This is a street racing forum. This particular vendor sells nothing but "performance" parts. I thought it would be a nice fit since no particular demographic of car owners is more finicky than us. I'm not here to argue. If the mods want to move this to a better section of the website that gets more traffic so be it. I'm looking for quality, not quantity though.

Re: Anybody ever order from importperformance.com

I did a quick search on lycos and found nothing bad about them, and a few people who recommend who links to their site. I'd assume they are just slow or something. I've had doubts about plenty of performance stores I've ordered from and all of them have eventually come through. Sometimes they are just a bit slow...and it has only been a few days. If they don't call you back or return your email in the next 48 hours, then I'd start to wonder, but at this point, don't get too bent out of shape too early. Let us know when you hear something though.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Thanks. I did the same thing. I even used my employer's www.hoovers.com business subscription to do some digging. Found nuthin' though. However I did receive a phone call yesterdsay afternoon with a tracking number. That's huge news so I'm a little less on edge. Maybe I jumped the gun. I hope so. I've been burned before so I'm overly cautious now. I'll post again when the part arrives and I see the quoted price post to my credit card.

Re: Anybody ever order from importperformance.com

The charges just hit my card and the tracking number is now giving me valid info. This was much ado about nothing. Thanks God. I'd rather be a little embarassed that screwed out of $400.

FYI...The parent company of importperformance.com is www.roadcatalogs.com.
