help on dual exhaust
Does anyone know how to put true dual exhaust on without getting a code? I would like 3" flowmasters with an X pipe can it be done? Ive seen things on Ebay that plug into your O2 sen. so U don't get the code but don't know if they work. I have installed a K&N cold air intake, edelbrock headers, programmed the computer so exhaust is the next step. thanx for anybodys help.

Re: help on dual exhaust
Well, I'd suggest just going with a cat back exhaust, but if you really want true duals, then why not get two high flow cats?

Did you put shorty headers on? If you want true duals, you probably should have put long tubes, and high flow cats on. Otherwise, a good catback system would be another way to go. I just installed a catback stainless Gibson dual sideswept system and it's great!

Re: help on dual exhaust
my truck came factory with two separate pipes coming to the muffler so true dual for me was really easy. but if you only have one coming back any exhuast shop could bend pipe for you to have true dual but that would be qutie costly. my personal opinion is that no cat back system will ever sound as good or be as loud as a true dual set up.
