Re: best for TURBO

You have this much money to spend on a fully built, turbo b-series motor...but not enough for a gauge cluster swap?

Stay with b16a turbo. If its fully built u should hit 12s no problem. People usually go for bigger displacement if they chose the all motor route to reach into 12s. So no need for a bigger block when turboing.

just get your self a b20b, it already has the compression ratio perfect for turbo 8.8:1.

Re: best for TURBO

VTEC engines respond to turbocharging very well. the heads flow GREAT. I've seen many dynos of b16's with turbos putting down 230-280hp on 10-12psi of boost. most b18/b20's get around the 230-240 range with a tad more torque. its all up to you really.
