Question Brakes

Hey. I got new rotors/pads a year ago for my 1997 SH because they were pretty warped. Now the same thing is happening already. It's strange. Anytime I break from above 85mph, the car shakes and basically the brakes don't work. But if I'm braking at normal freeways speeds, there's never this brake fade problem. So, I want to get some slotted rotors. BREMBO looks pretty expensive. Anyone have any tips on CHEAP and GOOD slotted rotors. I'm just gonna but Honda pads again so I don't get an squeaking. Thanks

Re: Brakes

my advice is simple. brembo brakes are on the high side, but on the other hand don't be completely cheap. there are some cheap slotted rotors, and from my experience they suck ass. stick with names like powerslot, and uh... well brembo. but do buy slotted rotors. i just bought new brakes, and i was a cheap ass. i got a set for 60 bucks and they turned out to be .006 warped (which is a lot out of the box) and to make a long story short, i could of bought a set of brembo's by the time i figured out the problem.
