airbag light on
Year, 2000, got airbag light on while driving, then came back and drive again after an hour and light went off again, so seems to be ok now? That means something is wrong? Do I need to worry?

Re: airbag light on
Mine did that also now it stays on almost full time. Im guessing the sensor is bad but not sure. I still need to dig into it and track the problem down. It also could be a rotted or chafed wire that alot of montanas have.

Re: airbag light on
most of the time in a montane when the air bag light comes on it is caused by the seat belt buckle for the front seats its also called a pre tensioner it will not harm the vehicle but you will not have a functioning air bag system if the light is on.

Re: airbag light on
Mine did the same thing. I checked the wires under the drivers and passanges seats. One of the connectors had come loose .... just poped it back in and out went the light.
