98 V6 Accord stalls when engine is hot

My 98 V6 has an intermittent stalling problem. When the engine is warm and I restart it, it occasionally will stall. I try to restart and it will crank and not start. If I wait about one minute, it will start right up and be fine. Also, it stalled once on a major highway when I had to stop to pay a toll ( Welcome to NJ). Also, this has happened a few times when stopped at a light and once while I was going about 70 on a major crowded highway. The RPM's go down and the engine just stops. These problems only happen when the engine is warm and once the car is restarted, it is fine. This is a very dangerous situation and my mechanic has no ideas. PLease help. Thanks.

1. there was recall on ignition switch, did you get it replaced?
2. faulty main relay can cause engine shot down. Main Relay Fix

Yes, the ignition switch was replaced. The problem is unrelated to the ignition switch. I think it is a fuel problem. I have heard a clicking/ticking sound from time to time . It sounds like it is coming from the rear drivers side. WHere is the furl pump located?

fuel pump is in gas tank, and its pretty much on center of car, may be just a bit on passenger side.

you need to check your main relay, fuel pump controlled by main relay.

I did replace the main relay three days ago. The car has not stalled since. It runs much better too. Smoother idle and acceleration. Thanks HONDA_99 for your advice and help.
