White smoke

Ok, i start up my car today and its in the garage since im not driving it and let it sit for about 30-45 seconds..after that i rev it up to about 3500-4000 and then let it sit alittle longer until i shut it off. When i get out of the car i smell gas and look to my exhaust and theres gas slik lining the inside of the tip and white smoke is billowing out. I think it was discsed before but i cant find it, sorry. what is up??

Re: White smoke

white smoke is coolant. there must be a million threads on burning coolant, especially on tuners.

Re: White smoke

White smoke indicates water vapor in the exhaust--if it goes away, it could just be condensation. If it persists billowing while you are driving consistently, it is probably your head gasket failing. This would result in coolant being vaporized and expelled with the exhaust.

If the smoke keeps billowing out the exhaust, you probably need your head gasket replaced.
