Wut up Artists,

I have been a lil busy, locked in my lab, coming up w/ crazy art concoctions like a mad artist.

I must say Jeri's tuts are da-bizaum.

I have learned so much about rendering w/ AI. I mean I never thought I could ever work in a single layer or learn cool trix to help make rendering faster. Many thanks to her and Lemorris for helping this young buckaroo out. She is so generous to share her knowledge.

Here is my vector line art for Jeri style rendering.
I got so exited I wanted to post the progress. I will start in on the coloring this week.

Da--ang yo I fattened those rims and wrapped them in Yokohama A048 rubber.
The rims are based on Steeda style wheels. I need to go back and reduce the tread size stroke out back; it is out of scale w/ the front tire.

Any thoughts and critiques are welcomed

Thx for checking it out.

Re: <<Grip>>

Nice work.

I've also got both tutorials--applying the tricks to Expression 3 program so it's not a direct swap, but much works the same. They're great!

Thanks to Jeri (and Lemorris for pointing the way).

Re: <<Grip>>

Wow, that looks exellent! The only thing I think that might be good to change is the colors of the cobra badge. Good luck on the coloring! It should turn out smashing.

Re: <<Grip>>

Thx Ran, Alex, and Blip

Now for the hard part coloring this cobra
The emblem is just something I put in the work. It may not even be there in the end or I may draw it a little differently. Yup the colors don't look right.

I'm struggling a little trying to figure out the channel stuff.

Like the background and your reflection guidelines.

Re: <<Grip>>

Looks good Al.

Color in channels using your combined line layers as a selection cheannel and it will be cake for you.

One of the coolest parts about rendering Jeri-style is that you can easily change channel colors and move selections from one channel to another.

It'll be easy for you.
