hey about my digital odometer reading..

i bought a 1997 dodge stratus of a guy and i was liek o yea sweet my first car!!!!!!..... im 17 and then i looked over everything cleaned my car and stuff then looked at the odometer and it doesnt work neither does the driving mode thing where it says it is in park, drive or watever..... so then i look at all the fuses and nothing.... all of em are fine...

then i go to look in the owners manual and go to look for the instument panel features and instrument cluster stuff and he fucking ripped the pages about all that stuff out!!!! if anyone knows wat the problem is or could post pages 61-64 of the 1997 dodge stratus owners manual it would help me out sooooo much with my first car ..... thx guys that help!!

I'm going through the same thing with my 2001 stratus. I hear it's something with a "module", don't ask me what that means, because I don't have a clue. Basically I was told it's an "electrical" problem. If you find out how to fix yours, be sure to let me know. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Took my car in to the shop, had all kinds of diagnostics done. Basically found out the instrument cluster is bad, not getting any a reading to talk to the computer. Bummer part is I've only got 44 K miles on the car, out of warranty, and now in need of a new cluster. I'm wondering if you've got the same problem going on with you to.
