Ghetto-ness

Ok, I know this was semi talked about before. I dont have much cash, and its coming in slowly, so I want to know, what ghetto-ness can I do to my car to make it loud [like cutting off the bottom half of your stock air filter box, good or bad?] and at least a little more powerful. [91 civic lx stock]

Also if ya'll have pics or stories of doing ghetto crap to your cars, post it, I'd like to see what I can do lol.

Re: Ghetto-ness

you can just take out the airbox and put a cone filter on the stock intake tubing.

Re: Re: Ghetto-ness

You could take you're muffler off like he said.. but that might get you more attention from cops than you'll like , lol. Depending on where you live I guess.. you could also punch out your cat =)

Re: Ghetto-ness

Chop the airbox in half, you only have to leavea about an inch of the bottom part, where the mounting holes are. Otherwise, chop it.

Between a modded airbox with K&N drop-in filter and a e-bay intake I ran better times with the chopped airbox.

Re: Ghetto-ness

Hmm you could loosen the bolts between the exhaust pipes. Take off the rear section, or there always is the drill which is an option!!!
