91 headllights.

Ok...my friend has a 91 civic hatch back. We just bought some of those LED windshield shooters. We wanna know how to get the parkin' lights off so we can connect the wires...how do you remove the parkin' lights?????

Theres a little screw at the top of the light, on the side. Its sort of hidden under the wing. Take it out, and the corner light simply slides out.

Ok...so you have a to part light. You have the headlight housing and then you have the side courtesy lights. I want to remove the courtesy lights out to get to the bulb.

But I guess what moppie just said is that you unscrew the little screw that is like under the fender and the whole courtesy light should just come out? I unscrewed it but wasn't sure if there was more to do....ok will try it tomorrow.:licker:

Post only one screw but 3 plastic "guides" to line up also

yeah dude.....after you remove the screw..it SHOULD slide out..but in addition to the screw the light assembly itself slides onto metal sliders, etcetc on the car so sometimes you have to tug it a little..and make sure when you re-install the light you line them back up correctly..there is one large slider behind the clear portion of the corner light (directly adjacent to the headlight), and two smaller ones (these are the ones most often mis-aligned during re-assembly) behind the aft/yellow portion of your corner light. I can't stand peeps that are too lazy to re-install the lights correctly. Take 30 seconds a make sure it is right. Good Luck!

These are also the ones most likly to get broken when some low life decieds to steal your 1/4 light by kicking it out.
If look really closely at the pics of my car the 1/4 light on the left hand side is out of alignment a fraction. The top tab has been broken off.
