How much horsepower does a eclipse vs eclipse spyder have?

The Spyder label doesn't increase or decrease horsepower... all that Spyder means is that the Eclipse is a convertible.

Because of the extra weight of the Spyder however, it's goin' to be slower than the coupe.

the weight difference isn't that dramatic, it would, if anything, be a tenth of a second on the quarter mile...

How is the spider lighter? It's got something like 300lbs of extra junk just for the convertible top. If I'm wrong please correct me. Thanks!

Most spyders come with a Mitsubishi 2.4 motor while a GS/RS come with a dodge 2.0..not much weight difference tho.
