Honda Guy lookin for Hyundai feedback

Please don't flame this poor honda enthusiast, but I have a question that some of you just might dig....

The 3 door, Accent hatchback - how versitile is it? Why? Cause I love the way that car looks! (I drive a civic hatch - go figure) Everytime I see one I just wanna turn it into a bad-ass autocross car.

So...does it take well to engine transplants? (ie: put in a tiburon motor - er something) Is there a substantial (at least substantial enough to be worth it) aftermarket for it? Can I get suspension parts, intake, header, exhaust? Turbos? all the fun stuff.

I just really like the profile of those cars, the kind of functional smooth boxy look.

ideas? examples? feedback?
thanks

Re: Honda Guy lookin for Hyundai feedback

yah, but why would you want to though? it already has the Tiburon's i-4 in it. Hay it is even more powerfull than the tib i-4 because it is lighter. I think we roughly calculated my fathers 00 accent manual at a 0-70 mph time of seven seconds. Just add a quick strap-on turbo or can of nitrous if you want a little bit more power. and about the exaust exc yah they have that and I will recomend getting it. www.hyundaiperformance.com, or any import mag.
