What body?

Ok i need to know what the unibody name is? What other cars were built on this same platfrom?

P.S. Sorry i'm new to ford i have always liked GM better but this car has intrested me enought to go ford.

Uhh...Not sure of which platform or years you mean,but for the MN12,the other cars that were built on this platform were the "Mercury Cougar,The thunderbird of course,and the "Lincoln Mark VIII"

You guys sound like you know what your talking about, did these cars come with rear disc brakes? if so is there a way to swap axles?

yea, you can convert to 4 wheel disc. super coupes and sport package birds had it.

I know that the 87-88 turbo coupes/SC had 4 wheel discs, and an 8.8 IRS differential, so it's a direct swap except for the clearance issue for the calipers and rotors (just get a larger rim and re-plumb some lines to get them out of the way).

Correct, Correct, and Incorrect.

The Mark VIII was boilt on the MN10 Platform. Similar, yes. But not quite.

Does a Mark VII have the same suspension as a T-bird? The reason i'm asking is because Mark VII came with a air suspension.
