I recently installed a ss dash back into my elky, the shop manuals are very vague as to wiring. Does anyone out there know where to hook the cluster ground. Re: 71 ss elcamino guage cluster ground

you do realize nothing electroic works without a ground right,(well atleast it wont work properly). you can ground anything anywhere on mettal. it doesn not have to be a spacific place. all it has to do is go to some metal on the body. you can crimp on a connecter and put in under a bolt on the firewall somewhere or on soemthing for the e-brake or whatever. there should be a metal brace behind.under all that stuff that you could put in on or something. i dont really know where the factory ground goes but it can go anywhere metal.
