just as a figure

I got my 96 vtec for 6500 w/68k miles

A 95 vtec would be ideal; last 4th gen to be obd1

Get a 5th gen SH. The Prelude isn't a drag car and never will be, but the 5th gen SH has handling that compares to many rear wheel drive sports cars. That and it's much easier to find a newer car with less miles.

Yeah, I'm in the same kind of predicament, too, but I don't really care what year I get as long as the mileage is lower than about 45,000. I don't care what color, interior, cloth, leather, h22a, no h22a... It doesn't matter. I just want one. My peice of crap GST sucks. I hate it. I do nothing but provide for it, and it does nothing but find new ways to piss me off. So, I'm going to do what my dad said I should have done in the first place... BUY A HONDA...

Re: What's the Perfect Mileage to buy a 4thGenLude??

Janet...hahaha....that's we're ur WRONG never call out a Lude like that...they might not be as fast as most new and turbo car's and compare to them they might look slow and heavy and under power and maybe ur RIGHT but that doesn't mean there SLOW and NO GOOD!!...that's just mean's other car a R FASTER but guess what I'll have my Honda mucher LONGER and with less problems besides I'm planning on getting a Turbo for my Lude...case and in-point it's more Rare to get a VTEC 93-96 Prelude then getting a heavier 5th Gen which cost way too much..for my budget and for the same power...then a 4thgen Lude which I here is a bit faster (which I like a bit more also ...) and consumerguide compares it as one of the better car's out there..when compare to most older couple car's..

besides...I love 4thGen Lude's.....

one more thin..I would like 2 the faces on people when they here a BLOW-OFF Vavle coming from a Prelude...
