Rear end for 96 1500
Any help appreciated. I have a 96 1500 w/ a 350. Need a complete rear-end and the last yoke of the driveshaft. If anybody has one for sale, or know where I can find one in Texas, please email to [email protected]. TIA

Re: Rear end for 96 1500
You might think about upgrading from a 10 Bolt to at 14 bolt - semi floating axle. Its a lot more heavy duty than the whimpy 10 bolt, but doesnt have the huge bulk and weight of a full floating 14 bolt with stick out hubs.

Try www.car-part.com
I also agree, go with a 14 bolt semi float out of a 2500 if you or anyone you know has welding skills. Remember if yours is a 4x4 you will have to match your existing ratio. |

The 14 bolt semi floater also came in the 1/2 tons with the heavy duty chassis package. The 1/2 ton 6,600lb GVWR and the 3/4 ton 7,200 lb GVWR have the same rear diff. The 8,600 lb GVWR had either the 14 bolt semi floater with 8 lugs or the 14 bolt full floater with 8 lugs depending on how it is equipped, They came standard with the semi floater.
