what is it worth
i am seriously considering buying a 92 mr2 turbo ttops 5spd that is for sale in my area, it has 115k miles, the guy is askin $4500 obo, i drove it, it seems to run and drive fine, i was just wondering if this is a good price, and what i should look for when i got back again, any advice would be appriciated, thanks

4500 for a running turbo with 115k miles is a damn good deal- atleast here in az, where something like that asks for 8000.
Check for leaks, brakes, watch your powerband (it should move smoothly through boost). Observe the paint, feel each gear. Ask for maintenance records, what has been done to this car, any modifications? Check carfax, any accidents? Check all power equipment, working ok? Feel the struts, are they limp or nice and tight? run the air conditioning, nice and cold? Look at the body up close, any dings? Just a few things to check. But even if a few off my list aren't met to satisfaction, a 4500 dollar smooth running turbo would sweep me off my feet any day!

he hit the major things to look into, but agreed, 4500 for a decent - nice car is a steal.
