Re: Hoods ??? Aluminum-steel-aftermarket ?

yea people make hoods, go to www.rx7club.com and go under parts for sale wanted and ask if anyone makes hoods cuz a few people there do... other than that only the Jap companies do I think

oh and I think the steel hoods weigh 45-50 and the aluminum is 15-20 but I don't know exact weights

I would get/save for a carbonfiber hood myself...but thats just me. Steel is a little heavy, and yah...alumn...to thin/flimsy.

If you are a big fat ass and you lean on an aluminum hood, yes they will dent.

FEED, Border, RE, Mazdaspeed, and GP Sports all make aftermarket hoods for 2nd gens. I'm sure there are more, but thats all I can think of right now.
