why so many "exceptions" when it comes to the Type-R

question, prolly a stupid one too...

Why is there an expection to most Type-R models?
iim asking because i eventually want to put a b18c engine in my 94 teg (which is all stock)but i am thinkin about doing the suspension right now...and i dont know if the expection applies to the type-r because of the body or because of the engine (due to weight capacities...etc) or both. and if there are these products (like the kyb agx which says all models except Type-R) where are the products by the same manufactuers that do include the type-r?

thanks.

Most times because the Type R is 5 lug. What are you looking at?

If you are talking about springs its because the ITR has differant spring rates and shit. You can get Springs for your normal car application. When you do your B18C I am doubting you are going to do a 5 lug so you dont really have to worry about it. Just get parts for your own car and dont worry abou the motor just yet.
