Does anyone know why almost all concept cars are painted silver?

I think it's becose silver is a good color to see the shape of the car. No other color can do as well. You can see every line of it and it will never go too dark or too light.

Or they have a rabate for that color

Half the time I think VRic is sniffing his glue more than he glues things with it ;-)>

but this time he is dead on... Look at to identical cars except for color, one dark, one silver and you'll see what he means.

Is that really the case that most concept cars are silver? I wouldn't really know one way or the other, but I'd have thought it depended on the manufacturer. German Cars like Porsche, Mercedes for sure since it is their traditional colour. Similarly I'd expect to see Jags in green and 4re's in red
