pcv valve
my hanes book has too many types of cars in it so it doesn't have a good discription of where the pcv valve is on my 3.1 lumina. The parts store sold me one but it doesn.t fit where they normally do on the valve cover. So if someone could help me out with a pic or something it would be great... I think the last owner of my car took it out and just stuck a hose in it???? thnks

Hey, your PCV Valve is in the upper right hand corner of your front valve cover. It has a black boot on it and it's very easy to pop out. They are pretty cheap to buy from a local automotive store. Make sure you get the correct one if you are planning to change it.

All i did to change mine was to let the 2 front motor mounts go on top and pull the motor ahead. when u pull it ahead just put the bolt through the hole in the motor mount..you can see and access it pretty good from there then...also a great time to change rear plugs if ya need too seem this is the easiest way to change plugs as well....hope this is of help to ya
