Clock,radio,ac/heater all went out

I had an air-conditioning problem or leak with my 1995 cougar xr7 with 8 cylinder engine. I had freon added and found out there is a leak in what looks like a small heater core in the dash. I was told it would take about 10 hrs. labor to take dash off without deploying airbags and replace the $150.00 part for $1000.00 since time and labor is the biggest part of the job. I was not happy with this.

To my dismay while driving one day the ac stopped and I noticed the radio did too along with my clock.

The clock is on the top area of the front dash ,then comes the ac/heater and then my radio. They just don't work but a faint sound from the fan..I think can be heard when turning on the fan. The dash lights work though.

Any help here? I took a multi-meter tester to all fuses inside under the dash and High Current fuses in engine compartment to see if any are out but none were! HELP!

I read many posts on this forum and tried disconnecting my power/positive battery cable for about 20 seconds and now my radio and clock work but not my fan.

At least part of the problem is solved. Can I get help with the fan?

Thanks for this forum and all involved.
