i have a 95 neon.. the clearcoat was beginning to come off the hood so i wetsanded it and painted it because the paint was fading where there was no clearcoat.. i got the color to look right so i clearcoated it and used rubbing compound then i waxed it buut i cant get the shine to match.. basically it has very little shine.. what should i do?..i put like 3 coats of the clearcoat on so i dont think thats the problem..help!!!

Uhm, is this a model, or a real Neon we're talking about?

And if it is a real Neon, isn't '95 getting kinda long in the tooth for a Dodge? Do they really last ten years?
