Where do you get your stuff?

Where do you guys buy all the stuff for your cars? Online or at a shop?

Re: Where do you get your stuff?

online. i wish there was a shop anywhere in NY that carried aftermarket accessories for a nissan.

i mostly just go to the manufacturer's web page and from there they redirect you to a distributor.

Re: Where do you get your stuff?

Same here...an aftermarket shop in Yorktown, VA is like a putting a lawn mower engine into your Maxima...lol...Not very practical (because only people that drive Maxima's round here are African-American moms...(AND ME)...

I especially like www.custommaxima.com The guys are really nice there, and help you understand stuff. I also like eBay because the prices are so cheap...I actually got my cold-air intake of eBay...had to move the battery to make it fit, which prob. would not have had that problem if I bought the $250 intake from INJEN (spelling?), but the one I got off eBay was only $65 or something...

Also, I seem to recall that custommaxima.com will beat any other price! WOW!

Oh yeah...I'm about to post a new topic...take a look at "CUSTOMIZED MAXIMA GAUGES...really custom!!!"

Re: Where do you get your stuff?

a good way to do it as well, is to go onto forums.maxima.org then go to the group buy section. one person will host a group deal in which people order one part for everyone at one time this way you can get a discounted rate for the large buy, so everyone gets their stuff for a little cheaper. i've seen things offered at 20% off list price and better.
