BBK X-Pipe Compatability Question

Hey Ya'll,

Got a question, I just came into a BBK Hi-Flo X-Pipe for 1996-2000 Mustang 4.6 and want to know if it will bolt right up to a Birds' 4.6, or if there are fitment issues further down the line of the pipe where rubbing could occur/other concerns. I know tccoa has an exhaust tech article, but it didn't answer all my questions. Also, I have OBX shorty headers and want to know if anyone knows of any compatability issues with the two brands (I don't expect there to be, just being cautious). And what about the "Y" collector, since the stock set up is a single downtube to the "Y" where it splits into dual exhaust, do I reuse the old Y, buy new one, or custom straight pipe it out the back?
