Thumbs up friendly encounter with an LS1 cousin

i was on my break from work and was cruising around, when i was nearly back i was at a red light(to turn left, there were two lanes to turn left... i was in the right of those two) and a SWEET silver LS1 camaro rolled up next to me, sounded mean as hell, with bogart B(or is it D?)10s w/ (i believe)drag radials. the owner had his window down, as did i. we kinda smiled at each other and exchanged "sweet car" comments. explained i had an auto, he had a ton of stuff done to it(heads, cam, etc). we couldn't really race, and even if we could i would get my ass smoked, but after we got turned to the left(in a 35mph zone btw) we both had the same idea to spin the wheels all the way to 60 and let off. it wasn't a real race i suppose because if it were we'd both be looking for traction. but it was the coolest thing ever. at the next light he was headed straight and i was turning right, but before i turned i yelled "hell yeah that's a beast" or something to that extent and gave a thumbs up, he did the same. i pulled into sonic(where i work, and all the ricers hang out) and parked. a guy followed me who had been behind me this whole time, in a riced out accord. he said "i could take both of you." as he rolled by where i was parked. i just rolled my eyes and went to clock back in.

on a side note while i was cruising, i was at a different light to turn left, waiting, well the traffic coming towards me just got the green, at the front was an amazing looking hatchback fox body mustang, deep black w/ cobra r wheels. i gave him a thumbs up. he did the same. screw the camaro vs. mustang battle, it's time to join forces and take out the imports!!
