Side exit exhaust - 96 Tahoe
Hey there, new to the board here ...
I have a 1996 Tahoe LT. I was pondering the idea of having an exhaust shop retoute the tailpipes to exit on the side of the truck, just before the rear tires. I have the factory running boards. I was wondering if anyone has done this, or seen it, or know if its even possible (fuel line clearance ... etc). Posts or emails are cool. Thanks in advance, Ryan |

It seems like this approach will reduce ground clearance (if that matters).
My 1997 has custom pipes that dump to the side BEHIND the rear wheels at the same height as running boards. |
