speedometer/odometer/stereo broke

Hi my friend and I just installed the scosche kit for the 1996 taurus and everythnig was working fine until my friend decided to really test the volume. He turned it up almost all the way and then the stereo turned off and won't turn back on. Also, the speedometer doesn't work and the odometer doesn't register miles. Anyone know how to fix this??

they are all on the same fuse. just replace it
