New to the board explorer niose Q's
Glad to be apart of this board I'm glad i could find a place that specified in ford explorers.
Any way to the question i have a 93 explorer sport it is in great condition although there is this odd noise that comes from the underside region of the drivers side floor panel. it sounds like loud metal cliking noise and it is only audible after i get into the gear that switches from 45 to 50. i have found no vibration related to this niose or any bad things as far as the vehicle running goes. this is very annoying. i was just wondering if any body could tell me what this might be. Thanks in advance Dan |

At that speed, you're going into overdrive if it has overdrive. Try leaving it OUT of overdrive to see if that affects it. I'm not familiar with 93s, but it make have a lock-up torque converter, which would also lock up at that speed. That's a possibility.
