Dipstick Heater on Caravan

Can I use a dipstick heater on a Dodge Caravan without having any problems? Is the Oil dipstick tube metal and the oil pan all metal?

I'm surprized you can still buy them. They were good, but were banned in Canada because of a few engine fires. No reason why you can't use it.Yes, And Yes to your question.
