Which Spark Plug to Buy!?
Hi, I've got a 1991 Jeep Cherokee Sport (4WD - 2 Door) 4.0L I6 Engine (190HP) and i'm wondering which type of spark plugs to buy? The stock spark plug are the Champion RC-12LYC ones, but i'm considering the Bosch Platinum (or maybe even Platinum +4) ones.
Should I buy higher end spark plugs, such as NGK or Bosch or Denso or stick with the Champion brand and get their platinum version?? Thanks in advance! =D |

Re: Which Spark Plug to Buy!?
As long as they're in the same heat range, brands shouldn't really matter. I use the original equip Champs (or equivalents). Since my XJ is just transportation, I keep everything relatively stock and spend the extra money on something else.
Just make sure you set the gap properly and be careful installing them. |

Re: Which Spark Plug to Buy!?
Bosch Platnuim is what I use in my 00 XJ w/ 84,000 on it. Also if your looking for a little more POWER!! I would recommend a K&N FIK, with a Magna Flow muffler. The intior noise is a little more, but bearable.
