painting taillights

hey im going right now to walmart to get some testors black transparent paint to paint my altezzas. Should i paint the outside of them completely black or should i paint them on the inside, and if i do paint the inside how should i do them?
thanks for the help
leave any input on what u think

not that I am a expert but I would think paint them on the inside to protect them from the elements, they are not likely to be scratched or chipped if the paint is inside...

true true but how would i do it and not cover anything up or that the lights wont shine through!

They have a Wal Mart near Cherry Point Hey I've never seen your car before but it looks nice. Are many of the Marines out there into imports? When I was in Yuma, there were quite a few who were.

First off, this was a kind of old thread, try and check the dates and aviod bringing old threads back to life when you can.

That being said, what you are looking for is transparent black tailight paint, right? It's called VHT Nightshades...I've seen it at Baxters Auto parts before. Also, some hobby shops carry transparent paint.
