Can some one tell me the way to do a roof scoop, without cutting a little noch out of the back of the scoop to let the air out, how should i mold the scoop into the roof? what do i use to attach it to the roof? (can someone halp me?)

Ya i will try to hold back as well...If your not going to cut a slit in the back where is all the air going to go, or is this going to be a not-so aerodynamic style feature

Re: doing a roof scoup

Ok, its not my thing, but when you do it, just be sure to point it the right way. Here in Austin, there is a white exlipse with a roof scoop that point the wrong direction.

Re: doing a roof scoup

ya man...unless u really like how it looks i would go against it. Anyone u pull up next to is just gunna laugh. Plus its non functional, and i think function is the best style. But man if u think it looks hot by all means rock ur style

Re: doing a roof scoup

what the hell is an exlipse or an exilipse? last time i checked mitsubishi made eclipses and how it is all backwards like could be more like another spoiler so it could be functional to completely spoil a perfectly good car

Re: doing a roof scoup

Please don't install a roof scoop.. Rally cars have them instead of a fan or air conditioning, to suck in outside air so the driver can get some kind of cooling. On a FWD economy car this will be a complete waste of money, make you a laughing target, and drown your resale value. If you have nothing better to do with your money than put a roof scoop on your daily driver Honda, please send me a check for $1000 so I can spend it on something worth it.

Re: doing a roof scoup

i guess if a person with a 5th gen hatch wanted an h22 in his "drag" car, he could put in a roof scoop, but htat would yet again slow down your car from drag and your big expensive h22 worthless
