my gauges and needles are done
thank god. also made my heater illum. brighter, and swapped some blue leds in the a/c and recirc. switches. the other switches are much harder to make blue...i still haven figured out how.
that little blue circle is there just cause i forgot to cover up the extra hole for abs in the gauge faces with a peice of the old gauges. heres what they would look like during the day.  at night  illuminations. you can tell they are bright, because if you look at my cd player, you can actually read the figures on it. the exposure time was set quick for these pictures.

the madness continues....
green needled ones aside blue ones. the green needles were kinda harder to get right, something weird about them just made them not turn out as good as the blue ones did. i used those ebay gauges for the green needles, because it a lot of work doing the markings in led, and because i dont have an ambudance of green leds. the third picture shows what the alignment of the warning gauges will be like. i can make it close to perfect(the CEL is a tad to big for the hole) by cutting it up, but i really dont think it is necessary. as soon as i start working more and get some money, ill get some of those special leds from sbleds.com and sell these bad boys, with the warning lights, turn signals, etc.... matching the needles. and once i really get some money, i can do gauge clusters where people can mix and match whatever colors they want, even have different color needles in the same cluster, ad different color illuminations. its hard getting my camera to capture how they really look. id say they are a tad dimmer than the pics, but you can use the cellphone comparison in the 4th pic to get a pretty good idea of how they will look.     installation pics...    here you can see how i melted the led leads into the plastic peices to provide clearance.

any of you guys want me to make a set up for ya? send me the cluster, and you can mix and match whatever colored needles you want, with whatever color numbers and tick marks. email me.
