Why so secretive about tC?
When a new car is soon to be released, most car companies will allow the automotive press (such as Car and Driver, Road & Track, and Motortrend) to review the vehicle for their readers. They'll allow photos to be taken and opinions to be given regarding driving characteristics. Here we are within weeks of the release of the Scion tC and no one has reviewed it at all. There are maybe 15 or 20 pictures available of the interior and exterior, all in silver only. They haven't even bothered to price many of the accessories yet, according to www.wanttc.com, the official website. What gives? GM has allowed automotive reporters from 3 magazines drive egineering TEST cars of the Pontiac Solstice, the Cadillac XLR was reviewed 3 months before delivery to dealers, and the BMW 1-series is months away from release in Europe and already the American press has reviewed it. Anyone have any idea why Toyota is being so secretive about this car? Is it not ready for sale or review yet? Are there problems that those of us who would like to purchase one this month should be notified of?

But even the new Civic or Accord models get reviewed by the automotive press!
