91 Taurus airbag light flashing

My airbag light flashes in 6 blink intervals while the engine is running. Does anyone know what this means?

Yes, according to the manual it is testing and charging the circuit that deploys the airbag. That is, this is normal. If the light stays on that means it thinks the airbag system has a malfunction somewhere.
