Question help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 1993 toyota camry,2.2 liter 4 cylinder, approx. 237k miles.i have replaced the fuel pump, strainer, fuel filter, throttle position sensor and plugs.it ran for a little bit but at low rpm's and low speed it would cut out and die.if you would play with the gas you could get it up to 80 or 90 easy.now the fuel pump will not even kick on.it turns over fine but just don't start.please help me!
thanks in advance,
johnboy

Re: help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check to see if there is voltage to the fuel pump when the key is first turned on.If there is the new pump is suddenly old.If not check the fuses, relays and wiring.

Re: help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck on ur problem. Do u feel the steering wheel is vibrating when u stop with the gear in drive? Mine is vibrating but not really too bad. Did u ever replace the engine mounts?

My Camry had similar symptoms when the distributer fried on me. I swore up and down that it was my fuel pump until my mechanic confirmed otherwise. In retrospect, it was probably just the ignition coil voltage leak issue that was common for these cars. I could have saved some money just getting that part replaced. Oh well.
