Re: my....concept cars sketches?

The proportions are quite good. The first on looks like you stuck the rear of a Honda NSX onto the front of a Gallardo. The second one looks like a 360 Modena with Honda NSX lights! Try to be more original if their concepts, or if they're real supercars, do yourself a favor and use a ref pic. From what you've done, if you use a ref pic, the proportions would be excelent, and the shading... well have to see .

Looking good man! Just throw in a bit more detail and some other basics and you're there!!! Look of Ross's threads (Ra_15) and see some of my (and others) crits. It will help you out.

Re: my....concept cars sketches?

Looks pretty good so far, like the others mentioned, more detail.

take a lesson from al and do freehand sketching, quickly. you'll loosen up. it may take you years to loosen up.

Re: my....concept cars sketches?

To learn proportions use the grid method. I did that for about 6 months and now I am sketching with out the grid from pictures as well as doing concepts without reference.
