Question Help! '97 has no brake lights or turn signals

The 1997 S-10 Blazer I just bought (like yesterday) has no brake lights, turn signal lights (front or rear) and no hazard lights. I must have forgotten to check them before I bought it. Here is what I have done as far as troubleshooting.

The fuses to the turn signals and brake lights are ok. The brake lamps/bulbs are not busted. The tail lights work with the headlamp switch. Could it be a faulty multifunction switch? How about a bad brake lamp switch? I will try to troubleshoot it more tomorrow evening. Any opinions out there?

Re: Help! '97 has no brake lights or turn signals

I got a tip from a Chevy tech. My problem lies in a faulty hazard light switch. I guess the turn signal, brake light and hazard circuits run throught that switch. Chevy apparently knows about this and is covering it for only a few chosen production years. Unfortunately my year 1997 is not one of them.
