2.8 V6 Mileage

I have an '88 S-10 blazer and at the moment im getting around 15 mpg i know its less than they are supposed to be but this is my first blazer so i was curious.

lol mines gets about the same crappy mileage as yours lol but yours is tbi so it should be better than 15mpg

I think part of the problem is that my converter is starting to plug up b/c i also had a hesitation problem to so i took the hammer to is and black shit come spewing out of the exaust.

No it didnt im gonna hollow out my cat converter in the morning and see if that does the trick

Yeah i had two 2.8's, they get crappy milage and lack power, thats just the way they were, thats why i have a 4.3L now. A tune up wouldn't hurt though.
