3gen Gt or integra gsr

i've been planning on getting my pops' 3gen GT but now i have an opportunity to get an integra GSR. both are going to be payed for by my pops so i was just tryin to get some opinions on what to get. right now im definately leanin towards the GSR because i've already found so many more aftermarket parts for it.

Re: 3gen Gt or integra gsr

I would have to agree. The GSR has alot more potential for the aftermarket performance that the 3G GT.

come on man, we all have eclipse's and u guys are saying get the GSR, F&^(* Hondas, the only downfall on 3Gens is that theres really no parts, but just wait, currently there making after market parts for it, just wait. Just cuz every damn Honda has thousands of aftermarket parts, there still weak. I have a pretty much stock eclipse and I beat GSR's with CAI and catback, shortshifter. I dotnsee how every one says GSR's are faster then a 3g Eclipse . Just the other day I raced A bomb A$# looking GSR from a light to light, and it barely started pulling by a lil. He didnt even beat me by half a car but like they say, it doesnt matter if u win by an inch, its still a win. I talked to the guy before the race and he said it had Cams,Vtec controller, CAI, Cat back. SO how is that faster then a 3G when I only have lil mods and it barely beats me?

Re: 3gen Gt or integra gsr

Honestly dude, the gsr is faster than a 3rd gen. Tonight I raced 2 gsr's. Both were upgraded and I took em both but damn, I gotta say, Vtec and 8k redline ain't that bad of a combination. As much as I would like to say get the Eclipse.... I can't without feeling like I'm being dishonest. Get the GSR, you thank me later.

Actually, better yet, go test drive them both and pick the one that suits you best.

here are some stats on both.

Re: 3gen Gt or integra gsr

Sounds like a plan to me toooo it also sounds like honda engines get complicated with their V-tec in addition with forced induction of any sorts, boosted ones complain about blowing motor after motor also, V6 200hp baseline and plenty of torque to go a long way if you want to put time and money in it, just WAIT that and honestly, Eclipses look BETTER

exhaust on hondas sound tinny and crappy keep that in mind too
