Tire Sizing

Don't know if this has been asked before, but I will try asking now. I have a 97 K1500 with the optional alloy wheels and was wondering if I could run 285/75/16 tires without problems, or am I maxed out at the 265/75/16 ones? This IS a 4 X 4, so i believe there is a little more clearance.

yes they will fit and also look alot better with the full wheel well
