Side mirrors how to take them off?

I'm having troubles getting my side mirrors off, There not electric so it has the little handle thing on the inside you turn. Any one know how to take these off? I broke one of the little clips on the cover and its just hanging there now, i see the screws and stuff behind it be how do I get the cover over the handle?

Re: Side mirrors how to take them off?

Are yours the electric folding ones? I'd love to have a set of those but the ones I see on ebay sell for around $250 or more, kinda expensive for mirrors, but I might buy some eventually. I'm trying to take mine off to paint them. I'll try to unscrew it. Thanks

You pull off the cover (not the handle itself but the tip) i slide my fingernails into the slight splace they had (its below or above the ||||| traction thingies) then theres a screw in there. Unscrew and the handle slides off.

Yes, you push the button and they fold in. You can find them on ebay and such, they are all JDM, very nice and I want one now!
