Neat tricks from the factory you need to know!

Hello, I am looking for little things people know for there 99' and up Silverado's. Tip ,Tricks Etc. I know of 2 things you can do with the stock computer.

1. Reset the computers dumb light. turn the key to the start position don't start it. Press to gas pedal to the floor 3 times turn the key back to the off poistion. Then when you start the truck next time the light should be cleared.

2. If you would like to know how many running hours the engine has on it . Press and hold the trip rest button for 5 sec while the truck is off.
A number will appear inplace of your millage this is actual running time. Great tip if you are buying a used truck.

I hope I explained these correctly. Does anyone have any others.
