Fuel injector problem
I've been getting a 16 on my ecu for a few monthes off and on. So I searched the threads and decided that I needed new injectors so I replaced the aux and main injectors on my 91 dx. It was fine for a week and know I'm getting the code 16 again. Question is could the problem be from the worn rings in my engine. I burn about 1 to 2 quarts a month, Or should I try to get a new ecu and see if that helps? I'm going to do A swap soon just saving up the cash. Also what ecu can I run on the stock dx 1.5b2? Any help appreciated.

first make sure that the wires on the 2 shock tower connectors are good and not loose, make sure the groudn on the thermostat housing is good and clean, take it off and clean it.
with the ignition on on the power wire of each injector, the yel/blk wire make sure theres battery volts going to each of them. then with the straight yel wire on the aux and red wire on the main injectors, check power for those, there should be 10volts. then check for resistance between the 2 terminals on teh injector itself, should be .6-1.6 ohms. let me know if it passes all of the tests |
