Seatbelt light

I just joined this site, you guys have good responses. I have a 92 Prelude Si 35,000 miles (yes i know, carfax checked out good before purchase a year ago) and right now the seatbelt light recently does not go on when belt is unbuckled. This is not a bad bulb or fuse because when moving the buckle it would stay on sometimes, then go off. I took apart the mechanism and saw how the plastic piece inside slides up and down but can't figure out how to repair. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

Re: Seatbelt light

is this really something that bothers you? just take the bulb out of the instrument cluster and your problems are solved.

Re: Seatbelt light

if it bothers you that terribly bad, go to a salvage yard and get a new female end to your seatbelt. problem solved.

Re: Seatbelt light

paranoid??

paranoid is print out a nightly weather report to see if hail will be affecting your area and if you need to stand out side with a big umbrella and baseball bat to protect your car. paranoid is sitting outside with a shotgun all night drinking coffee to keep you awake to make sure no punk kids try and jack your ride. paranoia is wearing tin foil on your head so the martians won't read your thoughts.
