[Heath88Caprice]

Hi, I'm Heath, I drive a 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Classic. I've been trying to keep it up since I got it last year from my grandpa. It's in fairly decent condition, few rust spots. But the engine is still in really great condition. While the rest of the car on the other hand still needs quite a bit of work. When I got the car the front pads were replaced, the shoes were never checked in the rear so I ended up having to replace the shoes and 1 wheel cylinder and 1 drum. The wiper relay went out but thanks to this forum I think I know how to fix it. Ever since I've had it too, the car started to drop, bad too. The city I live in is full of pot holes and there is a turn by my house that the road is extremely uneven, so the car needs new shocks as well. I've also been looking at adding what performance I can to it without having to do an overhaul on the drivetrain. I hope that there are some real gearheads in here that will be able to help me when the Chilton manual and my dad can't help me fix it.
